Auto Mode: listen through your deck.
Open any deck and tap Auto Mode for hands-free listening. Your downloaded cards play one after another, even offline and with the app in the background. Each session makes one pass through the deck.
- Shuffle cards or follow their deck order.
- Play the translation then the language you’re learning, the reverse, or both directions for each card.
- Hear the answer once or twice, with pauses from 0.5 to 3 seconds between spoken clips.
- Pause, resume, skip to the previous or next card, or stop from the player while you browse the app.
- Listen to learned and suspended cards too. Auto Mode leaves your study progress and review schedule unchanged.
- See a warning when audio is incomplete, then choose to play anyway. One-sided cards play the side they have; silent cards are skipped.
For audio on both sides, ask your assistant to generate both the translation and the language you’re learning. Let the deck and audio finish downloading before listening offline.
Auto Mode was introduced to internal iOS TestFlight testers in version 1.0.0, build 20. The latest processed iOS TestFlight build is 22. Public app downloads aren’t available yet. Android playback has been tested on an emulator; a public Play release is still in preparation.
